Hong Kong privacy notice
Last updated 7 October 2026
This notice adds what the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) requires. Everything else is in our main privacy policy, which stays in force.
Personal Information Collection Statement
This statement applies to the checkout form.
What we collect and why
Your name, business email, company, billing address and country, the website domain, the tier and currency you chose, how you pay, and, when one score is withheld, your acknowledgement of the coverage figure. We use them to take your payment, invoice you and deliver the service.
Is it obligatory?
Supplying the data is voluntary. Without these fields we cannot take your order or invoice you.
Who it may be transferred to
Hostinger, which runs the server the form is sent from and hosts our mailbox; Brevo, which delivers our emails; Stripe, if you pay by card; and Wise, if you pay by bank transfer. Nobody else, unless a Hong Kong authority compels the disclosure by law.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to your data under section 18 of the Ordinance and for correction under section 22. Send requests to hello@aiqsight.com, QuikForge Limited, Unit 2A, 17/F, Glenealy Tower, No.1 Glenealy, Central, Hong Kong.
Currency and cookies
To show prices in HKD, SGD or USD, we look up your connection's region on our own server; no IP address is stored and no region data goes to a third party. If you choose a currency yourself, this sets a cookie, currency, for 90 days — set only on that click, never before. If you choose "Yes, keep it" on a partner's referral link, aqs_ref remembers that partner's code for 30 days. Partners who sign in also get two sign-in cookies, aqs_psi (10 minutes) and aqs_ps (30 days). What you are billed follows your company's registered location, given at checkout, not this lookup: Hong Kong in HKD, Singapore in SGD, everywhere else in USD.
Transfers outside Hong Kong
Section 33 of the Ordinance, on transfers outside Hong Kong, is not in force. We tell you anyway: the website, the scanner and the order form run on a server in Malaysia, and order emails pass through Brevo in the European Union.
No direct marketing
We do not use order data for direct marketing, as defined in Part VIA of the Ordinance, and we do not provide it to anyone else for theirs.
How fast we answer
We answer an access or correction request within 40 days of receiving it, as section 19 of the Ordinance requires. If we cannot, we tell you why within those 40 days.
Complaints
Please tell us first, at hello@aiqsight.com. You may also complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.
